After a first half, Arsenal raised his game level and scored a big success against Newcastle (1-2).

Day 5 of the Premier League
Newcastle-Arsenal : 1-2
Goals : C. Clark (92′); Xhaka (49′), Ozil (58′))

Slowly but surely, Arsenal is going up in the Premier League. Defeated in their first two matches, the Gunners then won the next three, including this Saturday’s one against Newcastle. At Saint-James Park, they first suffered, delivering a first half of some sort, and then rebuff themselves and logically take the best out of their opponents. Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil woke up to materialize this good period of their team.

During the first 45 minutes of the game, Newcastle was the main player. But, the Toons were harmless as they approached the opposing surface, with the only real alert being a 21st Century incursion by Murphy, which the Greek Sokratis neutralized at the very last moment. It was too little to hope to hurt Londoners, well organized behind, if not to be sharp in the outposts.
